ForeDue Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Freightpx / PixelFreight ("we", "us", or "our"). These Terms apply to all users, visitors, and others who download, access, or use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

ForeDue is an offline-first financial commitment, contract, and subscription management application. The Service enables users to:

• Track recurring subscriptions, scheduled utility bills, memberships, contract expirations, and trial checkpoints.
• Store payment records, billing intervals, and calendar due dates locally on the device.
• Evaluate recurring commitments through conversational, category-aware checkup questions and structured audit decisions (Keep, Cancel, Downscale).
• Receive local, on-device notifications before scheduled renewal or due dates without sharing schedules with external push servers.
• Extract invoice details on-device using local optical character recognition (OCR).
• Access optional ForeDue Pro features, including multi-region catalog plan matching, price variance indicators, annual savings scorecards, and optional encrypted cloud backup.

3. Scope of Service & Informational Nature

3.1 Informational and Tracking Tool Only

ForeDue is an independent tracking and personal budgeting utility. ForeDue is not a bank, financial institution, money transmitter, or billing agent. ForeDue does not link to your bank accounts, does not execute monetary transactions, and cannot cancel, pause, negotiate, modify, or renew subscriptions on your behalf with third-party service providers.

3.2 Responsibility for Third-Party Contracts

Any decisions regarding whether to cancel, renew, pause, or switch plans for external services (such as streaming platforms, telecom operators, utility providers, or SaaS platforms) must be executed by you directly with the respective third-party service provider according to their own terms and cancellation procedures. ForeDue is not responsible for any overdrafts, late fees, unwanted renewals, or contractual penalties incurred with third-party providers.

3.3 No Professional Financial or Legal Advice

All calculations, insights, savings scorecards, and suggestions provided by ForeDue (including Pro Advisor recommendations) are for general informational and personal budgeting purposes only. They do not constitute certified financial, accounting, legal, or investment advice.

4. Accounts and Data Storage

4.1 Local-First Architecture

The core features of ForeDue operate without requiring an account. Your commitment records, payment history, and preferences are stored locally on your device in a private SQLite database sandbox. You are responsible for maintaining device security and creating local backup export files.

4.2 Optional Account Registration & Authentication

Users who choose to enable ForeDue Pro Cloud Backup or account synchronization may create an account using:

• An email address and password, or
• Google Sign-In (OAuth).

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• Promptly notify us at hello@freightpx.com or freightpixel@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions (ForeDue Pro)

5.1 Billing and Payments

ForeDue Pro features are offered as recurring auto-renewing subscriptions (e.g., Monthly or Annual) or one-time lifetime purchases through Google Play Billing (or respective platform app store). Payment is charged to your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase.

5.2 Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

• Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the conclusion of the current billing cycle.
• Account Charging: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
• How to Cancel: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by navigating to: Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > ForeDue > Cancel subscription.
• Uninstalling the application does not cancel your active subscription with Google Play. You must explicitly cancel it through Google Play.

5.3 Free Trials

If a free trial (e.g. 7-day trial) is offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial expires, the subscription will automatically convert to the applicable paid subscription plan. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when purchasing a paid subscription.

5.4 Refunds

All in-app purchases and subscription fees are processed and governed by Google Play's refund policies. To request a refund, please follow the Google Play refund procedure or contact Google Play customer support.

6. Intellectual Property & Nominative Fair Use

6.1 Ownership

The ForeDue name, logos, original illustrations, character mascot ("Due"), UI design, code, and curated service catalogs are the exclusive intellectual property of Freightpx / PixelFreight and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

6.2 Third-Party Trademarks & Disclaimer of Affiliation

Service names, product names, logos, and brands referenced within ForeDue (such as Netflix, Spotify, Disney+, YouTube Premium, Google One, iCloud, Telkomsel, IndiHome, OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. Mention of these third-party trademarks in ForeDue's catalog, search, or advisor is strictly for nominative identification and informational reference purposes to allow users to catalog their personal expenses. ForeDue is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or partnered with any of the third-party providers referenced.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the Application, except where permitted by applicable law.
• Attempt to bypass subscription verification, licensing mechanisms, or access controls.
• Use the Application for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of any server or network used to support optional cloud sync features.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

FOREDUE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

1. THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
2. DATES, CURRENCIES, OR REMINDER NOTIFICATIONS WILL ALWAYS BE TIMELY OR IMMUNE FROM OPERATING SYSTEM POWER-MANAGEMENT RESTRICTIONS.
3. THE SERVICE CATALOG PRICING WILL ALWAYS REFLECT REAL-TIME PROVIDER PRICE CHANGES ACROSS ALL REGIONS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FREIGHTPX, PIXELFREIGHT, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, UNWANTED THIRD-PARTY SUBSCRIPTION CHARGES, LATE FEES, OR DEVICE FAILURE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE FOREDUE.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to revise or update these Terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon posting to https://freightpx.com/foredue/terms. Continued use of the Application after any such updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Indonesia.
